NATIONAL GOATEE DAY GETS LEGAL

Onescore and one year ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new holiday, conceived in Manliness, and dedicate to the proposition that not all facial hair is created equal. Now we are engaged in a great whisker war, testing whether that style, or any style, so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of our face, as a final resting place for those who here gave their beards that Goatee Day might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.
